Foot Care at Any Age — Podiatrist Aija Skvarkovska at the “Artūrs” Social Center

On September 12, 2025, certified podiatrist Aija Skvarkovska, founder of MedbeautyLab, held a session at the “Artūrs” community center—a workshop focused on foot care at home and the prevention of age-related changes.

Podiatrics is not just about aesthetics
The event took the form of an open discussion. Aija explained why regular foot care is part of overall health, not just a habit. Participants learned how to care for their skin, what to do about dryness and cracks, how to trim their nails properly, and what to look out for to prevent inflammation. “Regular foot care isn’t a luxury—it’s self-care. Even simple actions, if done correctly, can prevent pain and maintain mobility,” noted podiatrist Aya Skvarkovska.
Hands-On Session and Interactive Discussion
After the lecture, Aya demonstrated the proper way to apply the cream and which tools are safe to use at home. Many participants shared their experiences and asked questions, and at the end of the session, they expressed their gratitude for the clear explanations and the positive atmosphere. “We feel that someone truly cares about us,” said one of the participants.
Gratitude and Inspiration
MedbeautyLab would like to thank the “Artūrs” Social Center for the invitation and for placing their trust in us. Events like this remind us that podiatry is not just about care, but also about humanity. Every encounter is an opportunity to offer knowledge, attention, and confidence to those who are in particular need of care.
